I was watching National Treasure on May 30 and I swore I saw Cage’s character writing in a Moleskine. I literally ‘Jumped’ on the internet and started to research this. In the move, when he found the pipe on the boat at the begining of the movie, he used it, the pipe, to write in what looked to be, and im pretty damn sure, a Pocket Sketch Book Moleskine. You should check it out for yourself if you are interested. Watch the part when he finds the pipe, look for when he lifts up the notebook and reads from it. If you look closely, you can see the trademark elastic band that keeps the book shut. Also when he writes in it, at same part in the movie, you can see that the pages are think and blank. They are identical to Molskine sketch book pages. If it is not a moleskine I am going to be very mad. I will have more inforation on this soon.
